The Newmark diver prototypes are in hand!  We collected them personally whilst we were away and it has to be said that we are very pleased with them.  Over the next two weeks we will be spending some time on photography in preparation for the launch.  After some thought it was decided that the name for the watch would be  'Newmark 71'.

This watch will be a Kickstarter project which we are aiming to start on 18th June.  As well as some hopefully decent images, we will create a dedicated page for the Newmark 71 on this site which will include full specifications and updated information on the Kickstarter campaign.  We have posted a few images on Instagram, the latest which can be seen at the foot of this page.

We have now set up a dedicated microsite for the Newmark 71 which can be found via the link below.

You will find a little information about the watch along with detailed specifications. We are aiming to launch the watch on the 18th June via Kickstarter and we will keep you informed of progress both via the Newmark 71 site and indeed via our mailing list if you are a member (you can join from here or on the Newmark 71 site itself).

We are currently working on the Kickstarter pricing and again, we'll be sure to announce this as soon as possible.

The Newmark 6BB and HS chronographs have enjoyed an excellent reception from customers around the world which is very gratifying after all the hard work that went into the project.  We have received some great feedback:

- My watch arrived today and it looks fantastic. Many thanks and congratulations on a job well done throughout the whole project. - AM
- Well played sir. It is jolly quality. All the best and congratulations - JP
- The quality and wearability (if that is a word) are excellent and I’m very happily wearing it now - PS
- First foray into a microbrand...and loving it! The Newmark HS Chronograph is simply fun! It’s the perfect size and it checks all the boxes on thoughtful and engaging design.

...and we've been well tagged on Instagram: #newmarkwatchcompany

So it's all pretty good news!  But what next?

Regarding the 6BB and HS chronographs then we still have a little stock available until we take a break from the 26th March until 22nd April.  If you are thinking or ordering then it may be worthwhile doing so before our break, particularly if you are in Europe given the unknowns of Brexit!

Our next watch, a 1960s/1970s style skin diver is currently in the development stage and we hope to have the prototypes in hand by the time we re-open in April; this one is based on a watch that Newmark marketed all those years ago along with companies such as Oris. We'll share as we go with this one but in the meantime these renders give an idea of what we are doing:
2 November 2019

The Newmark 71 production is now well underway with all components near to completion and thus assembly.  A total of 300 watches are being manufactured with approximately 250 of those being shipped to our Kickstarter backers. Remainder stock will be available to purchase here in early 2020.

Newmark HS is currently sold out though we are planning to produce a limited quantity available early 2020.

As you will see from the render, we have decided to produce a 'panda' dial version of the asymmetric chronograph and this time we've incorporated the date window which balances things up nicely.  The first run will be approximately 100 pieces and will be designated the
Newmark NP.

6BB continues to sell well and we have had an increasing number of requests for 2 watches. We're offering a 10% discount for such orders which will now be automatically applied in the shopping cart.
I'll post full specifications soon but this promises to be a great all rounder for those who like simple reliability and a vintage look.

So that's it for today! Please do get in touch with any questions or queries. I'll certainly do my best to help :-)
