The Newmark Waterking – simple, no gimmicks, reliable and fit for purpose.

The Waterking is based upon a watch which has its roots dating back to the late 1960s and which Newmark produced in very similar form until the early 1970s.

The design is of course in the spirit of those days when twin crown designs were very much in vogue and which have made a real comeback in recent years.

Whilst retaining the classic look and feel of the original Newmark, the 2022 Waterking has been updated with a modern automatic movement and enhanced durability through the use of a tough sapphire crystal.  Some may recognise the dial layout of this one from one of the few twin crown watches Newmark sold all those decades ago.

With its 200m of water resistance, the Waterking is a true ‘go anywhere’ watch with inbuilt reliability – requiring little, if any intervention. As long as it’s on your wrist you don’t need to wind it, you don’t need to set the date – just wear it and admire it!

The velvet black dial of this version is designed for ultimate legibility; with the anti-reflective sapphire crystal and generous luminous fill to the white hands you will have no trouble reading the time day or night.

Talking of night, then we have used Super Luminova X1-C3 luminous compound all round, ensuring a bright and long lasting glow.

Comes as standard on our high quality vintage style strap with signed tang type buckle. Of course, the standard lug width of 20mm means that the Waterking can be fitted with a plethora of different straps.
